You’ll want to go for a layered approach for both fleas and worms as this is what we recommend for

the best protection.

So using multiple products will give you the best results

Here’s some examples of what I mean by a layered approach.

FLEAS & TICKS (internal AND external)

Internal: choose one of the following

•Hedgerow hounds natures bounty

•CSJ Billy No Mates powder/liquid

•Verm-X Flea powder

•Herbal Dog Co Flea & Tick powder/tonic

External: choose two from the list below

•Ekoneem balm

•The Neem team pet shield spray

•Herbal Dog Co Flea Protect spray/spot on

•Biospotix collar/spot on

•Animal EO Away, Evict & Oust

•Mr Slobberchops Don’t Bug Me spray/collar/spot on

High quality Baltic Amber collars or Electromagnetic (EM) collars are great as an additional layer too!

WORMS (all of the below - garlic optional)

•Crushed pumpkin seeds (1⁄2 tsp per 10kg bodyweight every other day)

•Furry rabbit ears, or other furry chew (2-3 a week)

•Garlic- start with 1/2 teaspoon per 10kg of dogs weight (not for puppies under 6 months, pregnant or whelping dogs, Japanese breeds or dogs on certain medications!)

Additional worm prevention options: (Optional - Choose one)

•Verm X liquid (three consecutive days once a month

•Herbal Dog Co Wormwood tonic

•Homeopet Worm Clear

•Phytopet Wormwood Complex

WORM COUNTS

You’ll also need to do the all important worm counts with a natural approach.

  • Intestinal worms every 3 months

  • Lungworms every 6-8 weeks
