You’ll want to go for a layered approach for both fleas and worms as this is what we recommend for the best protection.

So using multiple products will give you the best results 🌿

Here’s some examples of what I mean by a layered approach 🐶

FLEAS (internal AND external)

Internal: choose one of the following

•Dermadog Defence Blend powder

•Greenpet Fleeze powder

External: choose two from the list below

•Amazonia Citro Protect Spray

•Kin & Kind Flea & Tick spray

•Don’t Let The Bugs Bite Spritz

•Arava Botanical- collar, spray or spot on

•Neempet skin solution

•Native Neem spray

•Healthy Pets Naturally - Pet Protector Tick and Flea Disc

High quality Baltic Amber collars or Electromagnetic (EM) collars are great as an additional layer too!

WORMS (all of the below - garlic optional)

•Crushed pumpkin seeds (1⁄2 tsp per 10kg bodyweight every other day)

•Furry rabbit ears, or other furry chew (2-3 a week)

•Garlic- start with 1/2 teaspoon per 10kg of dogs weight (not for puppies under 6 months, pregnant or whelping dogs, Japanese breeds or dogs on certain medications!) Additional worm prevention options: (Optional - Choose one)

•Homeopet - WRM Clear

•NHV Inulin-PK

•Freeloaders be gone & Sucker Punch

HEARTWORMS (choose one of the below)

•Ambernaturalz HWF tincture

•HAMPL Herbal Heartworm

•NHV Heartworm Kit

•Greenpet - Herbal black walnut tonic with nosodes

WORM COUNTS

You’ll also need to do the all important worm counts with a natural approach.

🪱 Intestinal worms every 3 months

🫁 Lungworms every 6-8 weeks

♥ Heartworms every 6 months

WORMCOUNT TESTS -

•Ask your local vets for testing options.

•Testing via a lab - https://www.parasite.com.au - request for dogs via email for intestinal worms, lungworm & giardia.

HEARTWORM TESTING

There are 3 different types of heartworm tests available:

•Antigen - only identifies female adult heartworms.

•Microfilariae - only identifies mature, breeding heartworms.

•DNA - Identifies heartworm larvae

DNA testing for heartworm allows for early intervention before the larvae has a chance to develop into mature heartworms and begin breeding. This makes DNA testing the best option, however it is harder to access this type of testing.

•Ask your local vets for testing options they have - Antigen, Microfilariae or DNA test.

•If your vets don’t offer DNA testing, they can order tests here - http://www.healthgene.com/ veterinary-testing/infectious-testing/small-animals/ using this order form - http://

As products can change over time, please double check ingredients and age suitability before purchasing, and contact the supplier or manufacturer if you have any concerns or questions.
