LAVENDER: Helps to reduce anxiety and other nervous conditions from sniffing.


MARSHMALLOW: Helps sooth an upset stomach.


MARIGOLDS: Dogs experiencing grief or emotional distress will often sniff out this plant.


YARROW: Helps inflammation, urinary problems and internal and external wounds.


DANDELION: Whole body tonic for your dog.


BASIL: High in antioxidants with anti inflammatory properties.


FENNEL: Help relieves gas or bloating.


MINT: Good for cooling properties and will often be selected by dogs who suffer from skin conditions.


THYME: Chosen by animals with bacterial infections, skin irritations and diarrhoea.


VALERIAN: Often selected by anxious dogs for its calming effect.


MILK THISTLE: Support the liver by restoring damages cells.


VIOLETS: Nervous dogs or those that have recently changed home may enjoy sniffing this plant.


VERVAIN: Valuable for treating and nourishing nervous system disorders such as depression via sniffing.


CATNIP: This has relaxation properties and stimulates playfulness in dogs.


HOPS: A calming plant often sniffed out by hyperactive and stressed dogs.


WHEATGRASS: Helps with digestion, and can give a boost of energy.


CHAMOMILE: Helps calm your dog, and helps them relax and bring down their heart rate.




The video shows my dog enjoying some wheatgrass which is easy to grow at home, and where I can be sure that it hasn’t been polluted by chemicals.
